Full Description

Centred at SS 96638 28605 is a prehistoric barrow. It is between 16 and 20 metres in diameter and 0.4 metres high. It survives as a low heather covered mound, with a very disturbed summit. Surveyed at 1:500 by GPS as part of the RCHME Exmoor Survey. [1-4] A barrow discovered during fieldwork in 1998. [5] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [6,7]
