Full Description

Stony banks found during archaeological survey of the Exe Plain area. [1] At SS 7609 4241 are irregular linear spreads of stone. They apear to be a combination of natural clitter and the result of constructing an access to a ford to the east. [2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
