Full Description

SS 9883 4306. "Gallox well" printed on Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division six inch map. [1] SS 9890 4305. There are no structural remains at the site, which comprises a spring issuing from a metal pipe. [2] The name Gallox Well is given on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. [3] SS 9883 4306. The well is depicted and labelled on 2018 MasterMap data. [4] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [5]
