Full Description

Remains of small pond. Wheel pit filled in and wheel destroyed. Was an overshot wheel 16 feet in diameter. Sufficient water to work the wheel for 1.5 hours. [1] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [2] A pond is shown to the south of Hawkington Farm on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map, at SS 8917 3959. The location of the water wheel isn't clear. [3]
