Full Description

A short length of contour leat 200 metres long, 100 metres south of Warren Farmhouse. No apparent beginning or end. 0.5 metres wide and in places is almost nonexistant. Helps to confuse the possible settlement site (MSO10937) at its western end. [1-5] The leat described above is clearly visible on aerial photographs and is one of several recorded individually that is in fact part of the substantial water meadow system now recorded under MMO2354. [6,7] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [8]
