MSO10468 - Possible World War Two slit trench west of Great Rowbarrow (Monument)
Please read the caveat document.
Type and Period (1)
To the west of Great Rowbarrow is a rectangular depression in the ground about 4 metres by 2 metres. It is possibly one of the "amophous quarry pits" mentioned in MSO9184 but appears too straight sided and recent. It may therefore be a World War Two slit trench.
