The chapel is late 19th or early 20th Century in date. It is a tin tabernacle and manufactured by William Harbrow of South Bermondsey Station, London. It is currently disused.

Full Description

'Meth. Chap (Wes.)' shown on Ordnance Survey map of c1904. [1] The chapel is not shown on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. [2] Noted as 'Church' in 2005. [3] Photographs of the chapel at Monksilver were taken in 2010. It is a tin tabernacle with wooden window detailing. [4] The chapel is listed as one of a small number of tin tabernacles in Somerset, although it is stated to be disused. A manufacturer's name plate states that it was made by William Harbrow of South Bermondsey Station, London. [5] Additional bibliography. [6]
