MSO10157 - 19th Century prospecting pit on Swap Hill (Monument)

Type and Period (1)
A prospecting trench 14 metres long, 11.5 metres wide and up to 3 metres deep with spoil heaps to the north and south with another mound to the east. Probably related to Knight's mineral prospection in the mid 1850s.
