MSO10119 - Possible prehistoric standing stone southwest of barrow on Great Toms Hill (Monument)

Summary

An earthfast stone was noted during a site visit in 2006. Its location has been plotted by GPS, although it is known to be southwest of MSO6863, which the Ordnance Survey have plotted in the same location.

Full Description

A small, mostly earthfast, stone hidden in deep grass about 20 metres to the southwest of MSO6863 and possibly associated with it. Surveyed by hand held GPS to SS 80493 43119, although this does not agree with the Ordnance Survey location for the barrow. [1,2]
