MSO10067 - Post-medieval enclosures west of Hele Bridge (Monument)

Post-medieval conjoined, embanked enclosures, situated between Helebridge Farm and Jury Hill Road, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1952 but have been ploughed level. They could be the remains of garden plots and buildings.

Post-medieval conjoined, embanked enclosures, situated between Helebridge Farm and Jury Hill Road, and centred at SS 9320 2780, are visible on aerial photographs. They are not marked on the 1891 Ordnance Survey map but do seem to relate to the road and the farm suggesting they are post-medieval. At least five enclosures, measuring between 10 metres by 5 metres and 30 metres by 30 metres, may be the remains of garden plots, or possible building platforms. The features are indistinct on the photographs and there are almost certainly more features too indistinct to plot. They have been ploughed level.
