Full Description
Centred at SS 96314 28547 to the southeast of Hadborough, is a stone or ballast quarry. It is post-medieval in date and survives as a 2.5 metre deep cut into the hillside. Surveyed with GPS, February 1998. [1,2] The quarry is visible on aerial photographs [3,4] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project.
