Full Description

An extractive pit, probably of post-medieval date, is visible as earthworks on vertical air photographs. It is centred at SS 9863 3440. [1,2] This may be the quarry marked on the current ordnance survey mapping and recorded as MEM22274. [3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
