A possible bank defined square enclosure is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. The date and function of the enclosure are unknown, but it is possibly late prehistoric in date.

Full Description

A possible bank defined square enclosure is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs, centred on circa SS 8584 3427, approximately 200 metres to the north of Great Bradley. The enclosure is roughly 12 by 15 metres in size, the cropmarks indicating that earthwork banks or walls less than 2 metres across defined the enclosure. The date and function of the enclosure are unknown, but it is possibly late prehistoric in date. [1,2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
