Summary

A field boundary or possible Lynchet of probable post-medieval date can be seen as low earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s. The bank cannot be clearly seen on later aerial photographs and might now have been completely levelled.

Full Description

A field boundary or possible lynchet of probable post-medieval date can be seen as low earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s, centred on circa SS 8425 3367 on southwest facing combe slopes above West Water. The bank cannot be clearly seen on later aerial photographs and might now have been completely levelled. [1,2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
