Full Description

Drainage channels of probable 19th or 20th Century date are visible on aerial photographs as cropmarks aligned northeast to southwest on Ware Ball, Exmoor parish, centred on circa SS 809 406. The drains are visible for an area of circa 9.5 hectares on the southeast facing slopes between Rams Combe and the River Exe. [1,2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
