Summary

A possible post-medieval leat adjacent to the River Haddeo, visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and 1970. It may, along with some drains, form part of a field gutter system.

Full Description

A possible post-medieval leat is visible, adjacent to the River Haddeo, on aerial photographs and is centred at SS 9631 2942.The possible remains of more drains may mean the leat forms part of a water meadow. These are centred at SS 9615 2960 and SS 9630 2948. [1-3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
