Full Description

During LiDAR assessment ahead of possible tree planting, a curving earthwork feature was noted extending approximately 230m on an east-west transect. [1] Given the presence of other medieval relict field boundaries in the area (recorded as MMO2423) it is likely that this is a further example, although it was not visible on the 1946 aerial photography previously analysed as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment. [2] The feature curves southwards at its eastern end, possibly hinting at part of a wider system that has since been destroyed.
