Full Description

In 2018 a "round, flat bottomed depression" was observed on aerial photography north of Eastcott Farm. [1] Reassessment in 2026 using LiDAR in addition to aerial photography suggests that the feature may rather be a small ub-circular enclosure., measuring c. 50m in diameter. It is visible in both 3 Directional Hillshade DTM and VAT DTM models, suggesting faint traces of a sub-circular earthwork with a the previously identified slight depression lying within this boundary. [2] While not visible on aerial photography from 2020, the feature is nonetheless visible on images taken in May 2013. [3]
