Full Description

An oval hollow is visible at this location on LiDAR imagery. It likely represents a natural depression, or perhaps more liekly a post medieval quarry. It's proximity to a trial shaft redorded on the second edition ordnance survey map could also suggest a link to iron ore extraction. [1, 3] This record was created by Cornwall HER for the Forestry Commission's Project K. [2]
