Full Description

The first and second edition ordnance survey maps depict a leat running from Lyddon's Moor plantation, down the west side of Blagdon Hill and the east side of King's Brampton Forest before turning east and disappearing at Blagdon Lane. The leat is traceable for much of its course in aerial photographs dating to 1946, but is now dry, depicted on current OS mastermap as a track or pathway. The leat is traceable as an earthwork in LiDAR. The course of the leat appears to continue as a less substantial channel east of Blagdon Lane plotted by the NMP and recorded as part of MMO728.
