Full Description

SS 7157 4531. A small circular peaty mound was noted on the north end of Ilkerton Ridge during field survey following a wildfire in 2022. The mound was measured as 1.5 metres in diameter and 0.3 metres high. The mound was suggested to represent medieval or post-medieval peat cutting activities.[1]
