Full Description

A large slate gravestone in Treborough churchyard (ST 0106 3637) marks the death of Isaac Chedzoy, a quarryman who 'met his death by an accident at the slate quarry in this parish, December 8th 1875 aged 45 years'. The nearby Treborough slate quarries are recorded as MSO11639. [1] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [2]
