Full Description

A short length of stony field bank on the northern side of Bin Combe on the southern side of Dunkery Beacon. It comprises a spread stony bank 2 m wide and 0.4 m high. It has a sinuous course from SS 9045 4138 to SS 9047 4141. The bank appears to be a prehistoric field boundary. Found during field reconnaissance and surveyed with GPS, March 1999, as part of RCHME's Exmoor project. [1] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [2]
