Full Description

Two quarried depressions with associated (?) banks (marked on the Ordnance Survey map as "old quarry" and to the northeast two further areas of possible quarrying activity. Noted on aerial photographs. [1,2] Only the quarry at SS 8402 3968 is recorded on the 25 inch 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps. [3,4]
