Full Description

A building is shown on the Tithe Map for Withypool Parish at SS84523549, abutting the road to the southeast. It is labelled 256, which the Apportionment describes as a house, owned and occupied by Francis Comer. A garden to the rear (258) is part of a group of land parcels named "Hobbs's" but under separate ownership. [1] The building is shown with a small subdivision at its western end on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map, but is not labelled. [2] The building is again shown on 2018 MasterMap data as one structure and labelled "Hobbs Cottage". [3]
