Full Description

An oval earthwork is shown on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map at SS 6461 4541. It is not labelled. [1] The earthwork is again shown unlabelled on the 25 inch 2nd Edition map. [2] The feature is not depicted on 2018 MasterMap data. [3] It is possible the feature may represent post-medieval quarrying activity. [4]
