Full Description

The Tithe Map for Timberscombe depicts a building fronting the road at SS 9558 4209, with an open space to the rear (northeast). It is labelled 420, which the Apportionment describes as "House and Garden", owned and occupied by Charlotte Portman and occupied by John Webber. [1] The building is again shown on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map, although the larger building abutting to the north appears to have changed in layout and has possibly been demolished and rebuilt. [2] The building appears to be similarly depicted on the 2018 MasterMap as on the 1st Edition mapping. [3]
