Full Description

A finger post is situated at a T junction on a grass verge west of Combe Cross. It was visited during the Exmoor Signpost Survey 2017-18. It had a pyramidal finial with the inscription S C C. The fingers are inscribed as below: [missing] MONKSILVER 3/4 The post was inscribed SOMERSET but included no maker's details. [1] The signpost is not visible on 2018 MasterMap data but can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2017. [2,3]
