Full Description
A finger post is situated at a T junction on a grass verge north of Ashbeare House. It was visited during the Exmoor Signpost Survey 2017-18. It had a pyramidal finial with the inscription S C C. The fingers are inscribed as below: STOGUMBER 1 COMBE SYDENHAM 1 1/2 ELWORTHY 1 1/2 / WIVELISCOMBE 6 1/4 / TAUNTON 12 1/4 The post was inscribed SOMERSET SHELDON WELLS.
