MEM24514 - Possible World War Two target on Kittuck's Hill (Monument)

Summary

A subrectangular pit flanked by two mounds is possibly s World War Two firing range target, similar to other monuments nearby.

Full Description

Sub-rectangular pit (4m x 2m x 0.8m) flanked by two low mounds (3m x 3m x 0.5m). The whole feature measures 8m x 3m x 0.8m and forms a linear group with ELB14 (39, 41, 42 and 43). They are most likely WWII military features, possibly targets given the proximity of some shell craters, gun pits or dug-outs of some other sort. [1-2]
