A quarry was cut at the southern edge of Verney's Allotment, close to the field boundary.

Full Description

A quarry at SS 77517 34324 is 7m long, up to 4m wide and 1m deep, and is cut into the slope adjacent to boundary. Spoil heaps up to 0.7m high extend around the sides and head of the cut. The mouth of the quarry is blocked by spoil from a further quarry cut immediately to the south. [1]
