Full Description

A quarry at SS77520 34317 was cut into the slope immediately to the S of quarry and at right angles to it. It is 9m long, up to 5m wide and 1m deep at its E end. There is a secondary cut 0.7m deep into the base of the cutting at its W end; spoil likely to derive from this phase of working overlies the adjacent ditch to boundary. [1]
