A quarry cut to the slope to the north of the Knight's canal with spoil heaps to the west.

Full Description

A quarry approximately 20 metres by 10 metres and up to 1.5 metres deep cut into the slope on the north side of the Kinght's canal, with soil heaps to the west. It is likely contemporary with the 19th Century improvements to the area. [1] The feature has been mapped as a depression on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. [2]
