Full Description

A D shaped feature is shown on the Tithe Map for St Decumans at c. ST 0471 3738. [1] The 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map depicts and labels a quarry here. There is a trackway that leads from the feature heading northeast. [2] The feature is labelled as an old quarry on the 2nd Edition map, suggesting that it had passed out of use by this time. [3] The extent of the quarry is indicated on 2018 MasterMap data. [4]
