Full Description

The site is shown as a clear area on the Tithe Map for Kings Brompton. [1] The 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map depicts and labels an old quarry at SS 9850 3187. A small building appears to be associated with it to the south at SS 9851 3185. A trackway leads to the site from the west. [2] The quarry is again shown on the 2nd Edition map, although it is not labelled. The building had also been removed by this point. [3] The earthwork is also depicted on the 2018 MasterMap data. [4]
