Full Description

The Tithe Map for Lynton depicts an earthwork feature at SS 7124 4921. It is labelled "Qy" (or quarry). [1] The feature is not shown on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map, suggesting it was no longer in use. Further quarries had been opened to the northeast (MDE21539). [2]
