Full Description

The 1st Edition Ordnance Survey shows a linear group of earthworks within a rough overgrown area at SS 6877 4223. They may be evidence of quarrying or an extractive pit. [1] The features are not depicted on the 2nd Edition map. [2] McDonnell has transcribed the features as part of his survey of aerial photographs. [3]
