A potentially short lived linear extractive pit, now in use as a drainage ditch, was noted during field survey in 2011.

Full Description
SS 7614 3623. Lower part of one of the main drainage ditches running off the moor, just above the junction with the main descent. The section of ditch in question is c.15 metres long and up to c.4 metres wide and 1.5 metres deep, and appears far too substantial for a simple ditch – perhaps a short lived or reused linear extractive pit.
