Full Description

SS 7543 3712. Linear zone of earthworks orientated broadly north to south. Their location corresponds broadly with that of a hedge bank on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map that has subsequently been removed. It is thus likely that the earthworks are the remaining expression of this field boundary. [1,2] The hedge bank is also visible on the 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey map. It meets a slightly curved hedgerow that meanders between SS 7539 3697 and SS 7562 3710. [3]
