Full Description

The Tithe Map for Luxborough depicts a small building sited at SS 9662 3965 within a small enclosure. It is labelled 551, which the accompanying Apportionment describes as "Part of Dry Ball, Cottage and Garden", owned by George Earl of Egremont and Richard Sladdon (latter lessee and occupier). [1] The building and enclosure had been removed by the time the 1st Edition map was surveyed. [2]
