A plantation is sited to the west of the farmhouse and contains mature conifers.  The plantation is shown on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. It originally occupied two small pockets of land at SS 7519 3683 and SS 7516 3682; these have been extended to form the current plantation. [2,3]
