The site is shown as a clear plot on the Tithe Map for Lynton and Lynmouth. [1] The 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map depicts and labels a gravel pit at SS 7288 4747. [2] The gravel pit is not recorded on modern MasterMap data. [3]
