Full Description

The Tithe Map for Kings Brompton shows a small building at c. SS 9899 3148, adjacent to a small enclosure labelled 332. The accompanying apportionment describes this as "Plantation and House", owned and occupied by Joseph Gatchell. [1] The building is no longer shown by the time the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map was drawn up, although the enclosure is still depicted. [2] The site is now part of a forested aread. [3]
