A post-medieval quarry is noted on historic mapping of the site but was not seen during a field visit to the site.

Full Description

A quarry first depicted on the 2nd edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch map on the west side of Worth Lane at SS 84480 34973, and also visible on LiDAR data. The area is covered in dense gorse and the quarry was not located during the 2017 field survey. [1,2] The quarry is not depicted on modern MasterMap data. [3]
