Full Description

The Tithe Map for Withypool shows a small rectangular barn in the corner of a field at SS 8412 3618, with a small enclosure abutting its eastern elevation. The barn is labelled 73, which the accompanying Apportionment document describes as a "linhay" within the Lower Blackland land holdings, owned by James Edward Jackson Riccard and occupued by William Williams. [1] The linhay is not depicted on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map and presumably had been removed by this time. [2]
