Two quarries are depicted and labelled on the 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps at SS90422893 and SS90452892, facing the road to the north. [1,2] The quarries are shown as earthworks on modern MasterMap data, in the same general form as that depicted on the historic mapping. [3]
