Full Description

Two earthwork features labelled "Old Quarry" are noted on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map at SS 8207 3304 and SS 8200 3297. [1] The features are depicted but not labelled on the 2nd Edition map. [2] Modern Ordnance Survey map data does not show the southwestern feature but the northeastern one is depicted and labelled "Quarry (disused)". [3]
