Full Description

A small building is shown on the Tithe Map for Parracombe at c. SS 6538 4569, within land parcel 756. The accompanying Apportionment does not mention the building but describes the land as "North Wood", in use as woodland and owned and occupied by Richard Dovell. [1] The building had been demolished by the time the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map was surveyed; however, the corner of the land parcel in which it was situated had then been enclosed. This feature is still shown on modern MasterMap data. [2-4]
