Full Description

A semicircular feature labelled as an old quarry is shown at the edge of and in the corner of a field on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. The feature is not shown on the Tithe Map for Winsford and so possibly postdates this map. It is, however, shown on the 2nd Edition map, although it is unlabelled. [1-3]
