Summary

A circular pit with no apparent spoil was visible during field investigation in 2013 undertaken as part of the Mires Project. This is likely to be a bomb crater.

Circular or oval pit with no apparent upcast. [1] Circular or oval pit up to 1m deep with no apparent spoil. Probable bomb crater. [2]
